Background

Guat'z Essen is a vegetarian/vegan permaculture restaurant in the Austrian Alps. The business runs special formats: tasting menus, Deal Days, New Year's menu, custom daily menus, product labels and a cooking academy.

The problem

Standard reservation systems cover neither the special formats (different prices per date, vegan/vegetarian selection, simultaneous Deal Day starts) nor the internal workflows around daily menu, labels and news. Reservations, news and food labels lived in separate systems.

What we built

A lean restaurant platform: public site with reservation flow, back-office for the chef to maintain daily menu, dishes, news, labels, holidays and reservation statistics.

Outcome

The chef can fully maintain the business himself - reservations, menu, news, labels - without external agencies. Special formats like Deal Days and New Year's run automatically.
